Tracy L. Shreve (Chief Financial Officer of Spink Shreves Galleries, Inc.) was first introduced to the stamp auction industry when she went to work for Steve Ivy Philatelic Auctions, Inc. in 1988. Mrs. Shreve rapidly scaled the corporate ladder to Vice President of Operations for what became known as Ivy, Shreve and Mader Philatelic Auctions in 1990.

Managing dual locations and overseeing marketing for millions of dollars of auctions simply wasn't enough for this young entrepreneur. Mrs. Shreve acquired her auctioneer's license in 1990 and quickly began crying her first sale.

In 1994 she and her husband left I.S.M.P.A.I. to start a philatelic consulting firm. This endeavor blossomed into Shreves Philatelic Galleries, Inc an auction company where she presided over all of the auctions herself as the auctioneer. Well-known as one of the few female auctioneers, her persuasive style and adept skills have encouraged the purchase of many multi-thousand dollar items by her clients.

Pursuing her love of auctions and jewelry, Mrs. Shreve conducted two jewelry auctions in 1998-99, one in Dallas and one in New York City. Mrs. Shreve is an accomplished Graduate Gemologist.

In 2007, Shreves was acquired by Spink and Son, ltd. of London and she was asked to oversee all of the operations of this new company.

On a more personal level, Mrs. Shreve also conducts auctions for charity events such as the Baylor Hospital Imaging Center (Breast Cancer Research) and many others. She is a member of the New York Collector's Club. Tracy and Charles have two children, Anthony and Sydney.
